WordPress – CMS and Blog Software

wordpress

WordPress is our application of choice for small to medium sites needing a user-friendly content management system.

Why use WordPress?

Why do we like it? Simple really. It’s quality open source software that has a huge user and developer base. That means it’s getting better all the time and has excellent support resources.

WordPress began life in 2003 as a humble blogging application. It hasn’t looked back. It is now widely used and well supported as a CMS.

It is highly customisable and extendable and creates a cost effective solution putting site owners in control of their site’s content and look.

Choosing the Look of your Site

Depending on the purpose and desired look of your site, we can get you up and running with WordPress in a pretty short space of time.

We have found WordPress to be an ideal back-end for creating sites customised to your specific needs. This includes the look and feel you require.

Plug-in Power

Aside from the fact that WordPress software is free, well supported and widely used, another good reason to use this platform is it’s array of plug-ins which provide a wide range of powerful functionality. There is no virtue in reinventing the wheel. There are readily available plug-ins that tap into the power of the internet, easily adding galleries, social networking extensions, forums, e-commerce solutions and more.

Working with You

The first step is deciding what the purpose of your website is and creating a design plan focused around those goals. Whatever kind of site you require, we will work with you through the process to make it a reality.
